Local author W.L Swarts visits to launch and read from his latest published work, "Tales From Our Current Apocalypse", a collection of short stories.

Tales From Our Current Apocalypse is a series of 19 stand-alone short stories that paint a picture of a species fighting against its own best interests, sometimes even its very survival. This anthology takes readers on journeys both profoundly realistic and truly fantastic, with stories that are packed with memorable characters and deeper revelations on the human condition. Oscillating between stories of hope and humor and those told with dark realism, Tales From Our Current Apocalypse will start conversations and debates among readers with its underlying question: Is it already too late to prevent our extinction?
