Local author W.L. Swarts visits to promote his latest adult novel, "M.A.H.M.".

About M.A.H.M. :

It starts as a dark and stormy night where a group of friends are welcoming back one of their own, who just returned from a trip where his kidney was forcibly-removed, when a stranger walks into the bar. The nine companions who meet nightly in the bar include an undercover health inspector, the editor of a world-renowned donut-focused magazine, and the public relations agent for a local band on the cusp of national attention. The group will be shaken by the stranger, whose presence compels them to address questions of who they are and what makes them tick.

On the other side of the United States, a man learns that his childhood was carefully-constructed as part of an experiment. That revelation will drive Jackson to cross the country to find the man he believes is most responsible for making him who he is. Jackson is on a collision course with the members of M.A.H.M. at a time when its members are already wrestling with deep philosophical and psychological concepts.

Told with humor and surrealism, M.A.H.M. introduces a collection of memorable characters with varied backgrounds and motivations. M.A.H.M. is a weird, complicated adult novel in the tradition of niche authors vastly more famous than W.L. Swarts.
