PLEASE NOTE: This program is a four day session (Monday to Thursday) for children 8-12 years of age. NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE. Children are expected to attend all four sessions.
This program will focus on the foundational principles of robotics. Participants will engage in a series of hands-on projects to deepen their understanding of how robots are designed, assembled, and refined using LEGO bricks. A snack will be provided each day, and kids should bring their own lunch on Monday - Wednesday of the camp. A pizza lunch will be provided on Thursday, July 3.
This immersive experience aims to not only teach technical skills but also stimulate curiosity and problem-solving abilities within a STEM framework. By the end of the camp, participants will have an introductory understanding of robotics and practical experience in constructing their robotic creations. The program is crafted to equip young learners with skills and insights, setting a foundation for future exploration and potential careers in the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of robotics.
All hardware, LEGO, and computers will be provided. This program will be led by Isaiah Markle, coach of a local FIRST LEGO League Robotics Team.
